When we introduced our first modular sofas in 2018, the idea was still unfamiliar to many in Vietnam. Most people knew only the classic, single-piece sofa, while modular designs were already making waves abroad and among those working in design, architecture, and interior design. Yet, our interest in modular sofas was never about following a trend. What truly drew us in was how seamlessly they fit into the ever-changing rhythm of modern life, where homes adapt to people, not the other way around.

Since our earliest days of making furniture, we pursued a simple idea: a sofa should fit the space, not the other way around. Not two apartments are the same; every family lives differently, and the mood of a living room changes with its people.
Previously, a sofa set usually had one color and one material, and almost everything was consistent. But today's living spaces reflect each person's personality more clearly than ever. Some people prefer the softness of fabric, others love the natural feel of leather. Some families choose neutral colors to create a relaxing atmosphere, while others want splashes of color to make the room more vibrant. Even within the same family, preferences differ. That may be why modular sofas are becoming popular.
When a sofa set is made of many separate blocks, the combination of colors, materials, and proportions feels more natural. A touch of leather alongside fabric, a bold color next to neutral shades, or a different combination better reflects the personality of the person living in the room.
That's also why, from the beginning, we chose to focus on the ability to customize the size, color, material, and configuration of the sofa to suit each specific space.
Years of producing, delivering, and maintaining sofas have taught us that modular designs solve many of the headaches traditional sofas cause. A three-meter-long, single-piece sofa might look impressive in a showroom, but try fitting it into an elevator or moving it across town, and the challenges quickly pile up. With modular sofas, each piece can be separated, making transport a breeze, packing more efficient, and adapting to new spaces far simpler.

Over time, Zero's modular sofa lines have evolved to reflect different sensibilities.
Modul+ is one of the sofa lines that best reflects the philosophy we have followed since our inception. Its substantial design, low backrest, and feather-topped surface create a sense of relaxed comfort, allowing it to blend seamlessly into a wide variety of spaces.
Bred and Wave are sculpted from plump foam blocks, giving them a bolder character. While Bred showcases the beauty of distinct, full-bodied forms, Wave highlights the versatility of modular design, with its assembled blocks creating soft, dynamic curves within the room.
Classic offers a more approachable option, evoking the familiar feel of a sofa with loose back cushions and seat pads for greater everyday convenience. In contrast, 10CM represents a completely different approach; from its memory foam composition to the signature square-quilted surface, every detail is crafted to deliver a unique visual and tactile experience.
